Oxford is easily accessible by road and rail, and Oxford Castle Unlocked is situated a short five minute walk away from the train and coach stations.

  • Rail

    Oxford rail station has regular links to London (60 minutes) and all major UK cities. For information and timetables visit National Rail.

  • Road

    Oxford is connected to London, the M25 and the Midlands by the M40, and the Oxford ring road provides direct access to Southampton, Portsmouth and Bristol via the A34. For directions, visit the AA route finder or Google maps.

  • Coach

    Regular coach links run daily from central London (100 minutes), Heathrow (80 minutes) and Gatwick (120 minutes) airports.

  • Parking

    Oxford has five Park & Ride car parks, with frequent bus links into the city centre. Car parks can be found at Oxpens, Worcester Street and Gloucester Green and are all a short walking distance from Oxford Castle.

    Coach parking is available at Redbridge Park and Ride. All long term coach parking has moved from Oxpens to Redbridge due to the Westgate development.
