FUN AND FRIGHTS – IT’S TRICK OR TREAT NIGHTS AT OXFORD CASTLE - UNLOCKED

A ghoulish line-up of inmates will be locked up in the old cells of Oxford’s former prison this Halloween to put the fun and frights into trick or treating at Oxford Castle-Unlocked.
From 6pm to 8pm, on Saturday 29 and Monday 31 October, children are being invited to don their Halloween costumes and dare to knock on the doors of the creepy inhabitants for a scarily good treat – safe in the hands of the attraction’s resident tour guides who will make sure the experience is one to remember!
“Oxford Castle-Unlocked has a spooky atmosphere at the best of times but add ghost stories and dark evenings into the mix and it’s not long before the hairs on the back of your neck go up!” says Michael Speight, general manager for Oxford Castle-Unlocked. "Our thrilling series of half-term activities are sure to entertain the whole family, especially children who can enjoy Halloween to the max in the confines of our old prison wing."
The trick or treat evenings are part of a week of Halloween themed activities taking place at the attraction from Saturday 22 to Sunday 30 October. Each day, from 10am to 5pm, fearless young explorers can take part in pumpkin trails, searching for the solution to chilling clues to claim a spooky prize, unleash their creativity with Halloween arts and crafts in the Prison Gallery and hear child friendly spine-tingling tales from Oxford Castle–Unlocked’s very own wicked witch!
All the events are included in the standard admission price or £4 to exclusively enjoy our Halloween activities.
