This exhibition has been organised and is displayed by seven local amateur photographers. All of them are members of the Oxford Photography Society and all of these images were taken as part of their hobby and joy of finding wonderful sights within a thirty minute drive from the centre of Oxford.
Private gardens, ancient woodlands, river banks, water meadows, open country side, nature reserves and reclaimed gravel pits, most of which are open to the general public, are just a few of the places visited to take these pictures.
The photographers hope that viewing these images will encourage you if you live in, or near, Oxford to seek out for yourself some of the wonders that are 'on your doorstep'.
