
Oxford Castle Unlocked has long been rumoured to be the site where Geoffrey of Monmouth penned the Legends of King Arthur. This historic event will be celebrated during May half term, when the legends are brought to life with a series of activities for all the family.
Take on the role of King Arthur, the wizard Merlin or his brave knight Lancelot and complete a quest around the castle and grounds to rescue the stricken Queen Guinevere. Retrieve the sword from the stone on the ancient castle mound to impress your friends and family and enjoy themed tours of the 1000-year-old castle prison, before completing themed arts and crafts to take home as a memento.
